The Fairley Stud was formed by John and Edna Careless some 35 years ago. We are now breeding elegant and beautiful Riding Ponies - Part bred Welsh and Welsh Sec B's and now after introducing Wentward Hummingbird to the stud we have part bred Arabs as well.

Our ponies are world renowned, breeding many Supreme Champions both in the U.K. and Australia.

Congratulations to Paint the Stars of Astrel supreme show pony in Australia.  Fairley Temptation top sire for the third year running owned by Jan Langley of the Langtree Stud.

News from the Fairley Stud

Sad news we have lost the illustrious Fairley Gemma dam of Fairley Temptation.  Gemma was supreme champion many times in her years.  Sadly Fairley Magnolia due to an accident had to be put down leaving us with a six week old foal, Fairley Crystal of which we have reared by bottle and now weaned.

Unfortunately we have also lost Wentward Humming Bird which leaves a big gap in the Fairley Stud, fortunately we have a very nice three year old colt, Fairley Puccini. 

Fayre Oak Sale

Three ponies are going to the Fayre Oaks Sale on the 15th September 2007.  Fairley Rose, Sec B Welsh, sire: Rotherwood State Occasion. A Beautiful pony destined for the top.  Fairly Swansong in foal to Fairley Puccini breed in the purple, a valuable asset to any stud. Fairley China Doll 3 year old future lead rein/1st ridden, super temperament destined for the top.
